This was built alone, in one room, in Germany. The one thing it has never had is a room full of people building the same kind of thing.
Why there, and not from here
Everything on this site was made without a team, without funding and without a single meeting. That was possible because the method is written down and the machine does what the writing says. It is also the limit: a method that has only ever been read by its author has been tested against exactly one opinion.
San Francisco is where the people who build with these tools are, in the same week, in the same rooms. Not as an audience — as the first readers who owe me nothing and can say, in one sentence, which part of this does not hold. That is worth more than another month of building alone, and it is the only thing a repository cannot deliver.
This is a plan, not an announcement. Nothing on this
page is booked, promised or paid for. It says where the project is trying to
go and why — the same standard the rest of this site holds itself to.
The purpose

Ten applications, one contract, one person — shown as it is, including the parts that are unfinished and the figures that can no longer be checked from outside. Everything needed to judge it is already public and already dated.
Learn
Mostly this. Where the architecture is naive, where the method breaks at more than one builder, what the people doing this at scale already know. I would rather hear that in person than find it out in a year.
What this page does not say
No dates, no flights, no address. Not because they are secret, but because a date on a public page is a promise, and this site does not make promises it cannot keep — the chronicle sets the pace, and it is written after the work, never before it.
There is nothing to buy here and nothing to fund. If any of that ever changes, it will be said in plain words on its own page, with the same honesty the numbers get.
